The Oilers opened their campaign with intent and composure.

Game 1: vs Kajang Rams (27–22)
A strong start to the tournament saw the Oilers edge past Kajang Rams in a tightly contested encounter. Discipline under pressure and timely execution proved decisive, setting the tone for the group stage.

Game 2: vs RC Knuckles (7–12)
The second outing tested the Oilers’ resolve. Despite a committed defensive effort, the team narrowly fell short in a low-scoring contest, learning valuable lessons about game management and fine margins at this level.

Game 3: vs Python RC (0–58)
A difficult result followed against an experienced and physical Python RC side. While the scoreline was harsh, the match served as a reality check, exposing gaps, demanding accountability, and ultimately strengthening the group’s mindset moving forward.

Game 4: vs MMU Hornbill (39–34)
With the Cup no longer in contention, the Oilers turned their focus to the Plate with renewed purpose. In a thrilling semi-final, the team delivered their most complete performance of the tournament. Composure in attack, defensive grit, and collective belief saw the Oilers outlast MMU Hornbill in a five-point classic to book a place in the Plate Final.

The journey comes full circle as the Oilers prepare to face Kajang Rams once again in the Plate Final. From the opening group-stage victory to this decisive rematch, the stage is set for a fitting conclusion to a campaign defined not by shortcuts, but by growth.
