Started in 2024, Sri Kandi Setiawangsa is a girls’ touch rugby club based in Setiawangsa, Kuala Lumpur, created to give young girls a space to discover the game, build confidence and grow together as a team. Open to girls aged 7 to 12, the club welcomes everyone from experienced young athletes to those holding a rugby ball for the very first time.

For us, development is not measured only by wins and trophies. A player finding the courage to call for the ball, a quiet child learning to speak up, or a young girl discovering that she is stronger than she thought these moments matter just as much. Through training, development clinics and competitions, we aim to challenge our players while keeping the joy of playing at the heart of the experience.

Behind every player is a community of coaches, parents and volunteers who make Sri Kandi possible. We may begin at different levels, but when we step onto the field, we move forward together.
