Forfit For Kids Friendly Tournament 2024

On the evening of 7th July 2024, a grassroots tournament was held by Forfit at Arena Owl Trafford, Bangi with an estimated attendance of 1,200 people gathered at the arena. The event was officially launched by the Secretary General of FA Selangor, Mr Izrin Nabil at estimated 5pm.

300 players have registered for the tournament with 12 teams compete in Under-7 category, 12 teams in Under-9 category while 6 teams in Under-11 category. This event was also supported by Selangor FC as the Red Giants truck was also mobilised to the tournament venue. Apart from that, food vendors are also opened during the whole tournament as well as booth from Forfit and Sinar Auto, co-sponsor for the tournament.

The event which was scheduled to end at 1230am then have been delayed to end at approximately 3am due to bad weather at the middle of the event. However the spirits of the players participated have make sure that the event ends successfully as per planned.

Forfit would like to thank the co-organizers, players, parents and crowds for attending and supporting our first grassroots tournament. We will make sure to put a priority in our planning and activities to support grassroots development for sports in Klang Valley and generally in Malaysia.
